The workshop will be given by Anne-Karoline Distel (Kilkenny Archaeological Society) during Heritage Week 2019. She will explain how to set up the database of photographs for your own project, you’ll get a chance to take photographs in the streets of Kilkenny yourself and learn how to use them on a website.

Requirements: Smartphone (iPhone 4 or 5 or Android) or Tablet and knowledge on how to use its camera. If you have old photographs of your house or street, please bring them and we’ll try to incorporate them into the project.

The app used is rePhoto. It is recommended that you have it installed on your phone when you attend the workshop. (Don’t worry if it is not available for your phone – we’ll try to pair you up with someone whose phone is suitable.)

The skills learned in this workshop can also be used to monitor environmental changes like erosion.

The app should be compatible with the following iOS devices and Android:

iphone4, iphone4, ipad2wifi, ipad2wifi, ipad23g, ipad23g, iphone4s, iphone4s, ipadthirdgen, ipadthirdgen, ipadthirdgen4g, ipadthirdgen4g, iphone5, iphone5, ipodtouchfifthgen, ipodtouchfifthgen, ipadfourthgen, ipadfourthgen, ipadfourthgen4g, ipadfourthgen4g, ipadmini, ipadmini, ipadmini4g, ipadmini4g
